BPSC Exam Syllabus 2022-23 latest update –
Bihar Public Service Examination(BPSC) is held in three stages:- Prelims, Mains, Interview.
BPSC Prelims syllabus - Prelims exam consist of only one paper i.e. General studies of total 150 marks. Duration of the exam is 2 hrs. Negative marking of 1/3 of the marks allocated to the question for every wrong answer. No negative for unattended questions. Syllabus of General studies are:
1. General Science
2. General Mental Ability
3. History of Bihar and Indian History
4. Geography
5. Geography of Bihar
6. Indian Polity and Economy
7. Changes in the economy of Bihar post-independence
8. Indian National Movement and the Role of Bihar
9. Events of national and international importance
BPSC MAINS SYLLABUS:-
Total 4 Papers in the mains exam.

- Modern history of India. (History of India and Bihar - mid 19th century onwards)
- Indian culture
- About events of national and international importance
- Graphs, Diagrams and Statistical analysis.
